Below is very simplified and general information about psychological aspects of pregnancy and birth. You may experience some or all of these things or your experience may be different. You are welcome to contact us to discuss what you are experiencing and what we can do to help.
Psychological aspects of pregnancy and birth can include consideration of our experiences before pregnancy, managing all of the changes during pregnancy, addressing any concerns about the birth process and so on. There can be worries about becoming a parent. There may be very specific issues such as pregnancy after a previous difficult pregnancy/birth; pregnancy following miscarriage or loss of a child; pregnancy with medical complications and so on.
Sessions can be for anyone involved in the pregnancy and/or birth and can be provided individually or as couples or groups.
